After a straight set loss at Penn State, Maryland volleyball bounced back and evened its Big Ten record Saturday night, as the Terps defeated Rutgers in straight sets with scores of 27-25, 25-15 and 25-14.
The Terps’ attack was back on Saturday, as team had 40 kills. Erika Pritchard led the way with 16, Emma Schriner had eight and Liz Twilley had seven . Abigail Bentz led the Terps with nine digs and Allegra Rivas also had eight digs.
Maryland had a .330 hitting percentage and only committed 17 total errors. The Terps also had 11 total blocks compared to Rutgers’ four, and Maryland totaled six service aces, twice as many as the Scarlet Knights.
