Despite a strong start, Maryland volleyball fell to No. 16 Purdue on Wednesday night in four sets, with scores of 25-15, 21-25, 23-25, 21-25.
Maryland committed 23 attack errors on the night, including 10 in the second set, which were vital in Purdue winning that set after the Terps cruised in the first. The Boilermakers took three straight sets to close the match.
Erika Pritchard led the Terps with 17 kills, recording a double-double with 17 digs as well. Katie Myers followed with 11 kills and Emma Schriner had nine of her own. Allegra Rivas led Maryland with 18 digs, Pritchard following in close suit.
