After a three-match road trip, Maryland volleyball returned home with a win Sunday, defeating Iowa in straight sets with scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.
Sophomore Erika Pritchard led the way with 20 kills and nine digs. Maryland relied on its defense on Sunday, with 12 total blocks and 52 digs. Allegra Rivas led the team in that category with 18, while Hailey Rubino and Nicole Alford also had eight digs each. Rainelle Jones led the Terps with eight blocks, Emma Schriner right behind her with five. Alford also had 32 assists in the match.
The Terps (14-10, 5-7 Big Ten) returned home after a three-match road trip where the team went 1-2.
