Following a dominant weekend with wins over Iowa and Nebraska, the Maryland tennis looked to continue its winning streak during a two-game trip to Michigan to face the Wolverines and the Spartans.
The Terps didn’t win the doubles point on Saturday, which they’ve done so often this season, as the duos of Kate Yemelyanenka and Eva Alexandrova, and Anastasiia Gevel and Zoe Kulkarni both lost their matches to put Maryland in a 1-0 hole.
The singles portion didn’t go much better for the Terps. Alexandrova lost her match 6-1, 3-6, 6-0, while Gevel lost her match 6-2, 6-2.
