The Maryland women’s tennis team extended their losing streak to seven this weekend as they were blown out against Nebraska on Friday and Iowa on Sunday.
The pair of losses brings the Terps’ season record to 3-14, and they fall to 1-6 in the Big Ten.
Friday: Nebraska 6, Maryland 1
The Terps registered a point for the first time in four matches, but were no match for the Cornhuskers in Lincoln.
Doubles play didn’t go well for the Terps on Friday as they lost both of the completed matches. Arnelle Sullivan and Anastasiia Gevel lost their match 6-3 while Zoe Kulkarni and Amber Policare lost 6-2 in their outing.
