Maryland freshman Eva Alexandrova was one of 14 tennis players to receive All-Big Ten honors Thursday.
Alexandrova posted 11 singles wins for the Terps this season, an impressive number considering she spent most of her time playing in either the first or second spot in the lineup. She has moved as high as No. 82 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings, and with plenty of her career still to come, the future is bright for Alexandrova and Maryland.
She’s the second Terrapin to earn All-Big Ten honors since Maryland joined the conference, joining then-senior Alexandra Stanova last season.
