For the past three seasons, the Maryland basketball program has put on a student-section flash mob for one home game per season, taking a onetime internet fad and putting a Terrapin twist on it.
The dance has gone viral in previous years, and after it was performed before a 59-53 upset of the national championship runner-up Wisconsin Badgers last season, Maryland was ready for another go-around with the same Big Ten nemesis.
Circumstances are a little bit different this time around. In past flash mob games against Duke, Syracuse and Wisconsin in 2015, the Terps entered as underdogs about to play their premier home game of the season.
