Maryland basketball assistant Kevin Broadus has signed a one-year contract worth more than $327,000, according to an employment agreement obtained by The Washington Post via an open records request.
Broadus, who was hired in April after two stints as an assistant at Georgetown, began his contract on April 21.
The one-year deal runs through April 30, 2018, and includes a base income of $150,000. Broadus will also receive $177,560 in supplemental income through exclusive television and radio appearances, participation in contracts for apparel and footwear and promotional appearances on behalf of the school.
Broadus will also receive a vehicle stipend of $500 per month and a phone allowance of $150 per month, six tickets to each Maryland basketball home and away game and two tickets to each Maryland football home game.
