Mike London has agreed to a two-year contract worth $800,000 as the Maryland football team’s associate head coach, according to a memorandum of understanding obtained by The Washington Post via an open public records request.
London, who resigned as Virginia’s coach after five seasons last month and was hired by Maryland Coach DJ Durkin on Dec. 9, is set to make $300,000 during his first season — a $100,000 base salary and $200,000 in supplemental income. His base salary will be bumped to $350,000 in 2017, with $150,000 in supplemental income to be paid in installments of $37,500.
