Maryland football’s rushing attack was by far the team’s best spot in 2016.
Maryland finished with the country’s 14th-best rushing attack, according to S&P+. Ty Johnson exploded as a sophomore and Lorenzo Harrison (before his suspension) was surprisingly good as a freshman. Anthony Tucker is in his first season as Maryland’s running backs coach, and he deserves at least some of the credit for this, at the very least.
