For the second straight season, Kasim Hill’s season will be cut short by a torn ACL. A little less than 14 months after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee against UCF, Hill suffered the same fate in his left knee Saturday against Indiana.
Hill’s Instagram post on Sunday all but confirmed his season was over, and interim head coach Matt Canada made it official at his weekly availability on Tuesday.
The injury ends a tough season for the redshirt freshman, who showed signs of why he was a highly-touted recruit but ultimately struggled with consistency.
