In its first action of the 2019 season, the Maryland men’s soccer team picked up a win in an exhibition against Temple, defeating the Owls 3-2 on Sunday.
The amount of turnover between this year and last year’s rosters meant there were plenty of new faces on the pitch for the Terps, with freshmen Marques Antoine, Niklas Neumann and Nick Richardson each unofficially debuting in the starting 11.
Despite Maryland being without its three leading scorers from last season — Amar Sejdic and Sebastian Elney graduated and Paul Bin sustaining a season-ending ACL injury last week — Sasho Cirovski’s attack still managed three goals on the day.
