Maryland men's lacrosse upset by Villanova in 13-12 OT loss

A temperate March afternoon couldn’t compensate for the Terps’ cold start on offense, as Villanova downed No. 4 Maryland men's lacrosse, 13-12, in overtime for the Terps’ second straight loss.

Villanova’s Jack Frocarro, Danny Seibel and Christian Cuccinello combined for ten goals, as the Wildcats will move to 3-4 on the season with a top-five win on their resume.

Matt Rambo put Maryland on his back when it mattered most, notching three late-game goals to keep the Terps alive when all seemed lost. The senior finished with four goals, and is now No. 1 all-time for points in program history with 200.
