Former Marquette defenseman Nick Grill will join Maryland men’s lacrosse as the latest transfer into the program, Inside Lacrosse reported Monday.
Grill entered the portal on June 11, less than a week after Golden Eagles head coach Joe Amplo took the same position at Navy.
During his college career at Marquette, Grill started all 42 games, earning Second Team All-Big East honors in his first two seasons and First Team honors after a successful junior campaign. Despite being a smaller defender, listed at 5’7 and 185 pounds, Grill tallied 68 ground balls and caused 31 turnovers across three seasons.
