It may have taken five games and then a double-overtime thriller against Northwestern on Wednesday night, but Maryland men’s basketball has finally captured its first win in Big Ten play this season.
The Terps collapsed late in regulation in the matchup with the Wildcats. However, they were able to get the job done with an extra 10 minutes of basketball to secure their ninth win of the 2021-22 season to improve to 9-7.
Maryland is now 1-4 in conference play with a game against Rutgers on the horizon. The matchup with the Scarlet Knights will be played in College Park on Saturday at 2 p.
