Maryland men’s basketball shows renewed depth against Saint Francis

Coming off of a tough road loss at North Carolina, the Maryland men’s basketball team looked to show that their 22 turnover performance was a fluke.

The Terrapins had seven players that scored at least seven points in a 96-55 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) on Friday evening.

Forward Robert Carter led the way for Maryland with 20 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Center Diamond Stone also contributed 16 points off the bench.

“It was big,” Carter said. “That game (against North Carolina) is in the past. We’re just focusing on getting better every day.
