Maryland men's basketball's conference schedule is up, with the Illinois Fighting Illini traveling to College Park to open play on the first day of Big Ten action on Dec. 27, and the Michigan State Spartans closing in Maryland on March 5.
"We are excited about this year's team and have a good mix of returning veterans and new faces that I am confident our fans will enjoy watching at XFINITY Center," Maryland coach Mark Turgeon said in a statement that ticked off some of the team's recent home accomplishments. "It is a highly-competitive schedule, which includes a Big Ten Conference slate that is always tough.
