With the 2015-16 NBA season getting underway, here’s a Maryland men’s basketball NBA season primer:
The Maryland men’s basketball program has had a long tradition of winning and excellence. In the last 20 years, the Terrapins have been led by two exceptional head coaches in Mark Turgeon and Gary Williams. Williams put together a 461-252 record (.647 winning percentage) during his time in College Park, which came after stops at American, Boston College, and Ohio State. On the other hand, Turgeon has accumulated an 87-50 mark up to this point in his Maryland career, which came after pit-stops at Jacksonville State, Texas A&M, and Wichita State.
