For the fourth time in five weeks, Maryland men's basketball has dropped in the AP Top 25.
The Terps (13-3, 3-2 Big Ten) land at No. 17 in the latest poll released Monday, dropping five spots from last week’s rankings.
After defeating No. 11 Ohio State on Jan. 7, it seemed as if Maryland had a shot at cracking the top-10 for the first time since Dec. 16. But a 67-49 loss to Iowa spoiled those chances in an all-around ugly showing for the Terps, who now have their lowest ranking of the 2019-20 season.
