Maryland lacrosse has its 2017 National Championship rings

Both of Maryland’s lacrosse teams walked away from the spring with national titles under their belt, so it’s only right they got some championship ice to celebrate.

The men’s team tweeted out an in-depth look at its national championship rings. Tewaaraton Award winner Matt Rambo’s ring is shown, and a closer look at the engraving reveals a speaker.

Next to the speaker is a phrase starting with a “M” that could be mistaken for “Maryland” on first look. The engraving actually says “Money for Nothing” and the speaker refers to a tradition the Terps adopted in their championship season.
