Maryland forward Justin Jackson will enter the NBA draft and is expected to hire an agent, ending a two-year career in College Park that was cut short by injury, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
The decision comes less than five months after Jackson endured season-ending surgery on a torn labrum in his right shoulder, which ended his sophomore season at Maryland and cast doubt about whether he would don a Terrapins uniform again. It was expected that Jackson would turn pro at that point, especially given that he had nearly left for the draft after his freshman season last spring.
