A pair of Maryland football players received national recognition Friday, as Johnny Jordan and Tyler Mabry were named to positional award watch lists heading into the 2019 season.
Jordan is heading into his junior season with the full-time job at center following Brendan Moore’s departure. Due to injuries and shuffling along the offensive line last year, Jordan started six games and helped the Terps pound the rock against Big Ten opponents. He’s been named to the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, given to the top center in college football every season.
