When Maryland football head coach Michael Locksley addressed the media on Tuesday, he disclosed that Maryland football junior wide receiver Jeshaun Jones and junior linebacker Durell Nchami would be out for the remainder of the season due to injuries.
Locksley disclosed that Jones will undergo surgery after suffering a lower-leg injury during the first quarter of the matchup against then-No. 7 Ohio State on Oct. 9.
Jones missed the 2019 season after tearing his ACL.
The loss of Jones further thins out what used to be Maryland’s deepest position group. One week before Jones got injured, wideout Dontay Demus Jr.
