Maryland begins its 123rd season of football today at Byrd Stadium, meeting Richmond for the first time in 38 years. In addition to rocking their “Maryland Pride” hand-painted helmets, the Terrapins will also wear their “Pride 2.0″ red jerseys and white pants for the opener.

Maryland enters the season with a relatively clean bill of health. Aside from the players lost for the season in camp (LB Abner Logan, DL Malik Jones) and those still recovering from injury (T Derwin Gray, TE Andrew Isaacs), no major shifts in the two-deep are expected at kickoff.
