It’s NFL Draft week, and Maryland football could have a busy weekend. The Terps might not have a bevy of players drafted, and they might not have a first-rounder like last year, but they’ve got plenty of prospects worth keeping an eye on.
The headliner is safety Darnell Savage Jr., who turned heads at the combine and has been widely projected as a second-round pick, although some believe he could sneak into the first. After that, linebacker Tre Watson seems likely to be drafted on the third day of proceedings (fourth round and beyond).
