Maryland football starting linebacker Kellan Wyatt intends to enter the transfer portal, he announced on Instagram Saturday.
The 6-foot-2, 262-pound rising senior amassed 80 total tackles across his three seasons with the Terps, as well as 8.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.
Last season, Wyatt ranked second on the team with three sacks, led the team with two forced fumbles and registered 30 tackles (19 solo). He also led the team with 7.5 tackles for loss — his single-season career high.
Coming out of high school, Wyatt was a three-star recruit and the No. 12-ranked player in Maryland, according to 247Sports.
