Another former Maryland football star has boosted his NFL Draft stock.
Cornerback Sean Davis had an impressive day at the Scouting Combine.
Just one day after Quinton Jefferson and Yannick Ngakoue turned in impressive performances in Indianapolis, Davis ran a 4.46 in the 40-yard dash drill. Davis’ time was the 10th best of the day among defensive backs.
Davis beat out Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, who is projected as a first round pick in the 2016 Draft. Davis also finished just behind Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple and Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who are also projected to be selected in the first round.
