Maryland running back Wes Brown has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of the university's student-athlete conduct code, the Terrapins announced Monday.
It is Brown's second suspension from Maryland. He missed all of the 2013 season to a suspension stemming from a July 2013 incident that resulted in Brown's being charged with felony wiretapping, second-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000. Brown subsequently met a set of university "benchmarks" and was reinstated to the school and football program prior to the 2014 season.
This suspension will certainly keep Brown out of Saturday's game against Indiana.
