Five-star Class of 2021 linebacker Terrence Lewis announced his commitment to Maryland on Saturday, giving Terps coach Mike Locksley a big recruiting coup after the Early Signing Period.
Lewis, the top-ranked inside linebacker and 16th-ranked player in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, announced his decision on NBC’s All-American Bowl Declaration Show.
Lewis withdrew his commitment to Tennessee in November 2020 and in December listed the Terps, along with Tennessee, as his top-two finalists. He later added Miami to his final choices.
