Maryland Football: RB Trey Edmunds transferring to Maryland

For the second consecutive year, the Maryland will get a Virginia Tech transfer.

Trey Edmunds will be coming to the Terrapins, according to reports. The Hokies running back has reportedly graduated and should be eligible immediately.

His father, Ferrell Edmunds, starred at Maryland from 1984 to 1987 and went on to be drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 1988 NFL Draft.

The Terps added linebacker Melvin Keihn via the transfer market last August.

The younger Edmunds has spent the past three seasons with the Hokies and has accumulated 957 yards on 234 carries (4.
