Another Maryland defensive lineman is leaving College Park.
Quinton Jefferson announced that he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. The Maryland defensive tackle broke the news on his Twitter account on Thursday evening.
Jefferson marks the second Terrapin to declare for the NFL Draft. Defensive end Yannick Ngakoue announced on Nov. 30 that he would be departing in favor of the professional ranks.
Jefferson will graduate on Saturday with a degree in Family Science.
The past five years at Maryland have been truly the best time of my life,” Jefferson said in a press release.
