Maryland Football: Lawtez Rogers commits to Maryland

Lawtez Rogers made losing out on star recruit Joshua Kaindoh a little less devastating.

On Thursday evening, the star Eleanor Roosevelt (Md.) defensive end committed to Maryland in a pledge that was expected for quite some time.

Rogers had an offer from Wake Forest in addition to interest from Rutgers, Temple, and Virginia Tech. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is rated as the No. 76 defensive and the No. 26 player in the state of Maryland.
