Maryland football received good news on Thursday night as three-star wide receiver Tai Felton announced his commitment to the program.
The 6’2, 172-pound Ashburn native just is ranked as a top-600 prospect and the No. 19 player in Virginia, according to the 247Sports composite, and is listed as player No. 207 in the ESPN Jr. 300.
“The reason I picked this school is because of the hospitality through my ups and downs. It’s been a family environment since I stepped on campus,” Felton wrote in a Twitter post.
As a junior at Stone Bridge High School this year, Felton had his 2019 season cut short, suffering a torn ACL as well as a meniscus injury in October.
