He is the Terps’ highest-ranked recruit since edge rusher Rico Walker in 2023, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Washington attends Archbishop Spalding in Severn, Md., and is the No. 23-ranked quarterback in his class and the No. 8-ranked player from Maryland, per the 247Sports Composite. He is the Terps’ third four-star recruit in the class of 2024, joining running back Iverson Howard and linebacker Carlton Smith.
