Two former Maryland football stars took the field at the NFL Combine.
Quinton Jefferson and Yannick Ngakoue certainly improved their stock in doing so.
Ngakoue, who is Maryland’s biggest draft prospect, ran a 4.75 40-yard dash on Sunday morning. The former Terp standout’s time was the fifth best among defensive linemen.
Ngakoue only trailed Dadi Nicolas (Virginia Tech), Shaq Lawson (Clemson), Emmanuel Ogbah (Oklahoma State), and Charles Tapper (Oklahoma) in the 40-yard dash. In addition to the 40-yard dash, Ngakoue also performed well in several other events.
