Maryland football has hired Colorado State’s Ryan Davis as its new strength and conditioning coach.
The Coloradoan was the first to report the news Thursday afternoon. Davis has since announced his move on Twitter. He’s also bringing in Matthew Fyle, who was previously the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Oregon, to the same position at Maryland.
Davis had been the head football strength and conditioning coach for the Rams since Mike Bobo arrived, helping contribute to the Rams’ three straight bowl games from 2015-17. Before coming to Colorado State, Davis spent three years at Samford, serving as the football strength and conditioning coach in 2012 before being promoted to director of strength and conditioning for all athletic programs in 2013.
