Maryland football won't be keeping defensive line coach Chad Wilt on its staff next season, Inside Maryland Sports's Ahmed Ghafir reported Wednesday.
This doesn't come as a huge surprise, as DJ Durkin had already hired former Virginia head coach Mike London as associate head coach and defensive line coach, leaving Wilt without a position. Ghafir says Wilt was "under consideration" to become the team's new linebackers coach, but was ultimately told he would not be returning to the staff.
Keith Dudzinski, who served as Maryland's defensive coordinator last season, could return as a linebackers coach, a role he held before Randy Edsall promoted him to defensive coordinator for last season, Ghafir writes.
