Maryland picked up two 4-star commitments over the weekend, along with a 3-star pledge, shooting the Terps up the 2017 class rankings. It's obviously still early, but the Terps' are starting off 2017 with a full head of steam and are currently ahead of blue chip programs such as LSU, Florida and Penn State.

Another very plausible and important point to consider:
Maryland having a top-25 class this year and also the fifth best class in the Big Ten East are both things that could definitely happen.
