Brendan Moore hasn’t made a start at center for Maryland football, but he’s on the fall watch list for the Rimington Trophy, released Wednesday. The award is given to the best center in college football. Moore is one of more than 60 players on the award’s fall watch list. Moore was on the spring watch list for the award as well.
Moore has one start under his belt at Maryland — at guard, against Rutgers in the team’s 2015 season finale.
The Terps have had senior starters at center in each of the past two seasons, in Sal Conaboy and Evan Mulrooney, but only redshirt sophomore, Moore figures to have the position on lock for the next couple of years.
