Maryland football assistants get slight pay increase, to $2.82 million, in 2015

Assistant coaches on DJ Durkin's first Maryland football staff will make $2.82 million between them in 2016 – a slight increase from the $2.783 million paid to Randy Edsall's assistants last season.

Offensive and defensive coordinators Walt Bell and Scott Shafer will each make $500,000. Former Ball State head coach Pete Lembo is making more than any other position coach at $350,000, a pay cut from the $514,250 he made a season ago as Ball State's head coach.
