Linebacker Keandre Jones and wide receiver Sean Savoy have enrolled at the University of Maryland, as first reported by InsideMdSports on Tuesday morning (Savoy first, Jones mintues later).
Both former local recruits are returning home to play for new Terps head coach Mike Locksley. Jones was originally committed to Maryland before flipping to Ohio State in 2016, while Savoy was part of Virginia Tech’s 2017 class. The two become the first players to transfer to Maryland under Locksley.
Jones was a four-star recruit and one of the top prospects in Maryland’s 2016 class.
