Early in the second half of Maryland’s game against Alcorn State on Tuesday, Terrapins guard DeShawn Harris-Smith squared his shoulders behind the three-point line and let fly, swishing his first attempt from distance. A few minutes later, he collected a pass from center Julian Reese and made his second as his team’s lead swelled to 19 points at Xfinity Center.
