Maryland field hockey came out firing after suffering its first loss of the season over the weekend. The No. 2 Terrapins took down Indiana 4-0 Friday in a game that was truly even more lopsided.
The Terrapins simply allowed almost no possession to the Hoosiers and were finally able to put the ball into the net with ease. Maryland’s defense allowed just one shot all match, arguably the team’s best defensive performances all season.
Just 12 seconds into the match, Madison Maguire took a pass right in front of the goal from Kyler Greenwalt and was able to tap it in for the quick 1-0 lead.
