Maryland’s game against Bowling Green was suspended because of inclement weather during halftime with the Terps leading the Falcons, 13-6.
Late in the first half, an announcement was made at Byrd Stadium that lightning was within 15 miles of the stadium. Then, at halftime, it was announced, “Inclement weather, including lightning, is within 10 miles. The game is suspended until the weather passes. Please evacuate the stadium in a clam and orderly fashion.”
The game was scheduled to resume at 2:38 p.m.
