Robert Carter Jr., will declare for the NBA draft and most likely hire an agent, per Jeff Ermann of 247Sports.
Carter, a transfer junior, has one year left of college eligibility. But hiring an agent will automatically end that eligibility. A source familiar with the situation said Tuesday that Carter was, indeed, leaning toward declaring, though the source didn't have insight on Carter's representation plans.
The 22-year-old is projected as the No. 51 pick in the late June draft, according to DraftExpress, though his stock won't be definite until after he competes against other top talent at the NBA Scouting Combine from May 11-15.
