Former Maryland basketball forward Robert Carter Jr. has signed a deal with Enel Basket Brindisi of Serie A in Italy, per a release. The terms of his contract are not listed.
He will join former Iona guard A.J. English and former Syracuse forward and Celtics second-round pick Kris Joseph.

Carter was not drafted in June, reportedly turning down the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets offers to draft him in the second round and "stash" him overseas for a season.
