Former Maryland guard Rasheed Sulaimon has agreed to play for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA’s Las Vegas summer league, according to a report by Michael Scotto. Sulaimon went undrafted in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.
With the Bulls, Sulaimon would be paired with another former Terrapin in Dez Wells, who reportedly signed with on to play for Chicago’s summer league team last week.
Sulaimon and Wells both project as shooting guards in the NBA, so they will be competing against each other for a chance to make it onto the Bulls’ roster. However, summer league play is as much about showing off for whoever might be watching than it is about competing for a roster spot on the team you’re playing for.
