Kevin Huerter’s days with Maryland basketball probably aren’t done, but the 6’7 wing has entered his name into the 2018 NBA Draft, the school announced Friday.

Huerter averaged 14.8 points, five rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in his sophomore season. He shot 50.3 percent from the floor, 41.7 percent from three-point range and 75.8 percent at the foul line. He only had a handful of dominant performances, but was perhaps Maryland’s most consistent player. Declaring for the draft without an agent will allow Huerter to receive feedback from NBA teams, which he will most likely take back to College Park with him as he prepares for 2018-19 with the Terps.
