After being selected in the second round of the NBA Draft and immediately traded to the Orlando Magic, Maryland men's basketball’s Justin Jackson will spend his first season in the G-League.
Jackson played just 11 games for the Terps last season before being shut down with a torn labrum. G-League reporter Adam Johnson first reported Jackson is expected sign a contract with the Lakeland Magic.
The NBA has sent Orlando Magic 2nd rd pick Justin Jackson a G League contract according to a league source. Prevailing thought is he will be a domestic draft-and-stash prospect and suit up for Lakeland.
