Former Maryland basketball center Diamond Stone dropped to the second round in the first DraftExpress mock draft update in more than two weeks. He moved ten spots down from the No. 23 pick to No. 33. He had been projected as high as No. 8 by DraftExpress this season. Stone has already hired an agent and cannot go back to Maryland.
The draft is still more than a month away on June 23, but this mock draft is better educated than the last, as players have started working out privately with teams. The mock should change more as the draft combine comes and goes starting May 11 through May 15.
